Let me tell you my recent experience with 2 eye doctors. Right before Xmas 2024, I arrived in HK for 2 weeks holiday, and my severe dry eye condition after the flight urged me to seek immediate medical advice. At that time, I couldn't find any available eye doctor with good online reviews. I was disappointed with my first eye doctor who was very impatient with me. She did not listen to my problems but rather was more focused on her own computer. She did not give me chance to speak and only prescribed an eye drop and asked me to return after a week. I desperately looked for another doctor online. After seeing good comments, I visited Dr Jasper Wong's clinic in early January 2025. It was a completely a totally different experience. Dr Wong was very thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the possible causes of my severe dry eyes and described several recommendations to manage my condition. He answered all my questions patiently without rushing me. He recommended another brand of moisturising eye drops at a much more reasonable cost for long term use. I did a successful SMILE vision correction treatment at Finest Ophthalmic Care. I feel very reassured given Dr Wong is patient to explain the procedure as well as his extended professional experiences, he has also helped to look into my dry eyes problem. After the treatment, I didn't experience any discomfort and I could work as usual the next day.
